BOOKING: To sign up contact us at 847-550-9191, or via e-mail or by e-mailing or faxing the booking to 847-660-6311. You will need to fill out the reservation form that contains important details regarding your trip. For groups your conditions maybe different. Refer to your brochure for details.
Passport: A valid U.S. passport with six months validity remaining is required for travel on this trip. For non-U.S. passport holders see the note below.
Payments: A $400 per person deposit check will be needed now in order to hold your space on the trip. Your final payment due by date listed on your invoice. If payment is not received by that date a $50 per person fee will be charged. If your final payment is more than 7 days late your reservation is subject to cancellation and no refund will be offered for monies received.
Refunds: See your reservation for for details. Refund and travel protection is not included, but strongly suggested and available by call us at 847-550-9191 for more information. Written cancellation is required and is effective when received by Dream Maker Vacations during normal business hours which is defined as 9 am to 4 pm weekdays except for national holidays. Cancellation charges also apply for upgrades, and other pre-purchased services. Hotel & airfare cancellation fees will be advised to you when you book those services.
Note: Valid U.S. passport is required with six months validity remaining past your return date. For non-U.S. passport holders, you are responsible for finding the entry requirements for all countries you are visiting or transiting. Tips to guides and ship staff plus personal items are not included. Order of events, ports, taxes, fees and charges are subject to change. Airfare and transportation to and from the airport is not included but is available from us on the day of embarkation and disembarkation. Limited available on each deck and at the listed price.
Airfare: If you wish you may book your airfare with us. Airline cancellation rules apply. Generally full payment is required at time of booking and fares often have fees that are refundable up to the full price that you have paid.
Smoking: The boat is a no-smoking boat except in designed areas in on the top outside sun deck.
Trip membership: Our trips require a blend of adventuresome spirit, physical fitness, walking ability & mental alertness, & a capacity for accepting situations as they exists & not necessarily as you would find them in the U.S. If you have health concerns, we suggest that you contact your physician to determine your travel capabilities to take this trip.
Changes: Port times and itineraries are subject to change and are controlled by the cruise line or the charterer. Also fluctuating water levels may affect itinerary Did-by-side mooring is standard practice in European ports of call and may occur periodically during your river cruise. Some departures may operate in reverse order.
Additional important information: Valid U.S. passport required & needs to be valid for at least 6 months after the completion of your trip. Non-U.S. citizens should contact the appropriate consulate of each country included in the trip to inquire (if any)the necessary visa. Single rooms are limited. Order of events, airlines, hotels & taxes/fees/charges are subject to change. Passengers originating in two different cities & are traveling together may not be confirmed on the same flights. Seat & meal request for flights are accepted by us as preferences only & are not guaranteed. Airline seat assignments, meals & frequent flyer programs are under the control of the respective airline. Not all coaches have toilets.
Price does not include: Beverages & meals not detailed in the itinerary. Personal expenses including passport & visa fees, alcoholic beverages unless otherwise noted, optional sightseeing tours, traditional tip to your guide(s) & driver, taxes, charges, fuel surcharges & fees that are subject to change & passport fees, departure taxes paid locally at a departure airport are not included. Travel Insurance is not included but strongly recommended and is available by calling 800-369-3693. You may obtain this from any source you desire.
Dispute settlement: Any disagreements between the parties concerning the trip is agreed it may not be litigated and that arbitration under this paragraph being the sold and exclusive remedy. If after 90 days the parties are unable to reach a mutually acceptable solution to any issue; either party may request the American Arbitration Association in Chicago, Illinois to provide a list of seven independent arbitrators to hear both sides of the disagreement and issues a written opinion. The arbitrator shall be selected by the parties alternatively striking names from the list provided. Both parties agree to abide by the opinion of the arbitrator, which shall be final and binding on both parties. You agree that any opinion by the arbitrate that includes monetary compensation to either party must be paid within thirty days of the arbitrator's written opinion.The fees charged by the arbitrator will be split evenly between the two parties and paid to the arbitrator within thirty days of the invoice.
Note: You agree that in no event shall DMV will be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to display of or use of this website.
Consumer disclosure notice: Read the tour information & conditions carefully, as your deposit & any payments for a trip constitutes consent to all conditions & general information contained on your brochure & in this packet. This trip is arranged by Dream Maker Vacations (DMV). It has made the travel arrangements as agent for the transportation carriers & other suppliers (SUPS) of services connected with the tour, all of which are independent contractors. DMV in no way owns or operates the vehicles or facilities to be used during the trip, & does not guarantee or assume responsibility for the acts &/or omissions of SUPS, their employees, agents, etc. All bookings are accepted subject to the conditions imposed by SUPS & DMV, including airline, cruise line, rail, coach, hotel, restaurants, insurance, & other companies, firms or persons concerned with the trip, & DMV will make no refund in the event of their delay, cancellations, overbooking, strike, force majeure or for elements of the package not used by customer. DMV has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the suppliers,unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards or climate extremes at location to which you may travel. If there is a difference between DMV conditions & those published by a SUP, the higher fee conditions shall apply. DMV reserves the right to cancel a trip, change the itinerary, airline, hotel or adjust rates whenever in its sole judgment conditions warrant, or if DMV deems it necessary for your comfort, convenience or safety. Currency, taxes, fees & fuel surcharges are subject to change. Trips outside the USA require a valid U.S. passport. You accept full responsibility for & release DMV from passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements & safety conditions in/at travel destinations. DMV strongly recommends you purchase appropriate cancellation/medical/baggage insurance for the trip which is available from AFC 800-369-2693. DMV has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of suppliers, unsafe conditions, health and weather hazards or climate extremes at location you may travel to. For medical information, call the U.S. Public Health Service at 301-443-2403, & for U.S. State Department travel advisories, 202-647-5225 and the CDC at 877-fyi-trip. DMV reserves the right to decline to accept any person as a member of the tour, or to require any participant to withdraw from the trip at any time who presents a significant risk to the health & safety of themselves or others which can not be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by DMV's reasonable accommodation. DMV reserves the right to correct an error in advertised price prior to your departure. A contract is made when your reservation & payment are accepted by DMV at it offices & any dispute shall be governed by Illinois law & subject to the jurisdiction of Lake County, IL and you hereby release, discharge, and covenant not to sue DMV/TTR, their officers and employees and from all liability, claims, demands, losses or damages to be caused in whole or in part by DMV negligence. DMV is the DBA of Tour & Travel Resources inc. In calculating the cost of your trip, DMV has relied on your consent to these terms & in the absence of this release, the trip cost would have been higher. DMV also reserves the right to cancel a tour prior to departure & in such cases all payments made to date will be refunded & shall constitute full settlement. You hereby release DMV from all claims arising out of problems. Trip maybe operated by other companies. Currency exchange rate is subject to change.
Notice:You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all all required travel documents, such as your valid U.S. passport, visa and other entry requirements that are required to enter the countries you are visiting are completely your responsibility.
NOTE: If improvements can be made to your vacation, or unforeseen circumstances and/or local conditions may require us to make changes to the order of events. We are not responsible for any personal plans you may have made that are affected by such changes. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccinations or other entry requirements of your destination(s) and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, labor or civil unrest. Dream Maker Vacations has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. Also, all travel documents, such as your valid U.S. passport and visa that are required to enter the countries you are visiting are your responsibility. We are sorry but no refunds can be made for those who fail to bring required documentation. You acknowledge, agree and represent that you understand the nature of traveling overseas, both to and from as well as throughout, and that you are qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity. You fully understand that: (a.); traveling may involve risks and dangers of serious bodily injury including permanent disability, paralysis and death Risks; (b.) these Risks and dangers may be caused by your own actions, or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or the negligence of the releases names on the reservation form; (c.); there may be other risks and social and economic losses either not known to you or not readily foreseeable at this time; and you fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages you incur as a result of my participation in the Activity. You have read this agreement fully understand its terms, understand that have given up substantial rights by signing it and have signed it freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature and intend it to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law and agree that if any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid, the balance, notwithstanding shall continue in full force and effect. We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our/AFC staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance which is available from AFC at 800-369-2693 or any other source you would like to purchase this from. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance nor do we guarantee that all possible needs and situations will be covered by the insurance. Unless otherwise notified in advance if there is any discrepancy between the brochure meals and the final itinerary the brochure will be followed. We can not control or be responsible for any meals that are not served by the airlines, cruise lines or others that may have be listed by us. If you are signing the form on behalf of your travel companion you agree that you know that they have read this information and have told you that they are in agreement with all the terms and conditions. Otherwise they are required to sign a separate form. You release Dream Makers from all claims arising out of any problem covered on these pages and the consumer disclosure notice.
Currency: For 2017 trips currency exchange rate (USD to Euro) was based on the rate on June 1, 2016.
